anything for a smile
According to our field recorder expert
This external monitor can record videos in 4K 60 fps and HD 240 fps.
The screen has a 15-stop dynamic range, so your recordings are displayed clearly.
The monitor has an output for compatible Dolby Vision devices, also for recordings in ProRes RAW.
The file size of your videos will increase if you use this 10-bit external monitor.
The Atomos Shogun 7 is a versatile field monitor for professional videographers. You can make optimal use of the Log or RAW profile of your video camera. You can record uncompressed 4K videos at 60 frames per second and HD slow motion recordings at 240 frames per second. Recordings can be streamed live via four HD SDI video streams. You can connect the monitor to Dolby Vision compatible devices for the highest possible contrast and a detailed HDR display, also in ProRes RAW. Thanks to the 360-degree backlight, you can see 15+ stops of the dynamic range on the screen. This makes the monitor color representation exactly like on the camera sensor. With the XLR input, you can easily connect an external microphone for high sound quality.
