Not only the rip fence had to be adjusted, the saw itself was insufficiently parallel to the guides molded into the table itself. Fortunately, all this is quite easy to adjust (enough can be found on YouTube). A big plus is that everything can be adjusted very easily and accurately if something is not properly calibrated from the factory, as was the case with my saw.
