According to our WiFi speaker expert
Add the rear speakers to the Bose Bass Module 700 and the Bose Soundbar 600 and 900 for a movie theater sound experience.
The compact design allows you to place the speakers in any desired location.
Only the connection to the speaker is wireless, the speakers themselves must be plugged into the socket.
With the Bose Surround Speakers 700, you're in the middle of your favorite action series. You can easily add these wireless surround speakers to your Bose soundbar 600, 900, and Bass Module. That way, you create a movie theater sound experience in your own living room. Connect the speakers to your socket wired and to the other Bose speakers wirelessly. You can connect your smartphone to the speakers via WiFi and control the speakers remotely via the Bose app. Thanks to the compact size, you can easily hide the speakers behind a curtain or place them in the corner of the room.

For these Bose sound speakers 700 you have to order the "omniewel" tripods and not the UFS-20 II standard. I had to experience it myself. The description on Bose's website is misleading.

Plays great but only works with movies or programs broadcast with Dolby 5.1

I already owned a Bose soundbar 700 and the subwoofer 700. This is already a beautiful set that reproduces both stereo sound. Whether you're listening to rock, jazz, lounge, classical, house, blues or reggae, everything sounds the way the artist would like it to be, as if you were there. So you can also hear if audio has a poorer quality, even at a low volume. However, the point is that, especially with a large living room, you just miss the spatial sound. You want to hear sound from every side of the room and not that all the sound comes from just one side (soundbar). That is exactly why these surround speakers 700 were made. To put the finishing touches on this beautiful set so that the sound really comes from all sides. Before the purchase, I had contact with both coolblue and bose to clarify the difference between the standard wireless surround speakers and the 700 surround speakers. There was quite a difference in price. It now appears that this considerable price difference is due to the fact that the surround 700 speakers have a speaker on all sides for a very spacious sound and that they can also handle a higher volume. These surround 700 speakers are also included with the most expensive set from Bose, the lifestyle system. My conclusion is therefore, whether at a party, movie, or stereo music, that this really gives beautiful sound. So forget all the dolby atmos marketing talk, because be honest. How often do you listen to splashing water?
