According to our vacuum expert
The motorized multi-surface brush makes this a powerful stick vacuum, both for hard floors and for low-pile carpet.
Use the powerful turbo mode for dirt or carpets.
The powerful V7 motor provides 15 - 30 minutes of uninterrupted vacuuming.
With a noise level of 85 decibels, this upright vacuum is very loud.
The turbo mode requires a lot of battery power; when using this mode, the battery will only last 7 minutes.
With its motorized multi-surface bush, you use the Dyson V7 Motorhead Origin on both hard flooring and low-pole carpet or rough rugs. Because the suction brush has it's own source of propulsion, the brush spins in the suction brush. This way, it removes dirt from the ground much more efficiently. In addition to this brush, you also receive several accessories. With the 2-in-1 accessory, you get both a wide crevice tool and a soft dusting brush. Extend the soft bristles and clean delicate furniture in no time. Detract them to remove the left-over popcorn from the couch. And thanks to the V7 motor, you can vacuum for 15 up to 30 minutes at the lowest setting.
Hygenic and easy to empty
Dyson has gone all-out to make sure that the V7 is user-friendly. As a result, emptying the dust cup of the Dyson V7 isn't a dusty chore anymore. If you pull the red lever on the motor unit, the flap at the bottom of the dust cup opens. Make sure you do this over the trash can, or you'll have to vacuum again.
Turbo mode
The Dyson V7 has 2 suction settings. Thanks to the turbo mode, you'll never be short on suction power. The regular mode is powerful enough for most cleaning jobs, but you can switch to the turbo mode whenever you need that extra bit of suction power to clean your carpet.
Charging dock
The practical wall charger of the Dyson V7 offers room for 2 accessories. You simply store the V7 in the wall charger when you're done vacuuming. In just 4 hours, your stick vacuum is completely charged and ready for use.

Very nice vacuum cleaner. Doesn't do well on laminate/hard floors. For this you really need the other attachment that is especially for hard floors.
