According to our console expert
The new Nintendo Switch Lite is lighter and more compact than the original Switch, making it easier to bring with you.
The Switch Lite's battery lasts about an hour longer compared to the 'regular' Nintendo Switch.
The four buttons of the left Joy-Con have been replaced with a directional pad for more precision.
Contrary to its predecessor, you can't connect the Nintendo Switch Lite to your television.
The Switch Lite's buttons are integrated. This means that due to the absence of regular Joy-Cons with a rumble feature and motion detection, a few games will require an extra wireless controller.
Play handheld with the Nintendo Switch Lite, the game system you no longer connect to the TV. It's a compact lightweight system with built-in controls. You can play all Nintendo Switch games which support the handheld style on the Nintendo Switch Lite. This means you can play almost all Nintendo Switch games. The system is ideal for those who like to play in the house anywhere or for those who want to play online or locally with friends or family.
Note: contrary to the 'regular' Switch, you can't connect the Nintendo Switch Lite to a TV. You can no longer detach the controllers either, which means games like 1-2-Switch will require an extra set of wireless Joy-Cons.
Because I wanted to play the new Zelda I bought another Switch after I sold my old Switch, this time the Lite version. This is just a very good handheld, but of course you can leave that to Nintendo! I sometimes miss the hd rumble in Mario Odyssey, otherwise I can't really discover any real downsides.

Normally always a gamer on the PlayStation, but recently also bought a Switch Lite for when I want to play a small game somewhere else or don't feel like staring at the TV.
The Switch is very easy to use and also feels nice in the hand. Controls are quite similar to other consoles. It is even possible to watch YouTube on it.
The disadvantage is that the Switch has quite 'little' storage. After buying a game bundle, it was almost full. So it is advisable to purchase an extra memory card!

The product is very good, especially if you don't care about playing on TV. The battery life is more than sufficient for the user to spend some time playing outdoors. Even if you are concerned about the graphics, you will probably like the Lite version.
