After a visit to my dentist, I was again advised to start with electric brushing, because I cannot remove all the plaque with manual brushing. I ignored previous advice, but this time I took the plunge because of several starting holes. In my search on Coolblue for the right electric toothbrush, the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 Black came out the best for me. Fortunately, the toothbrush was also discounted at that time and I was able to hand in several Coolblue coupons that I saved through the SamenGezond program. So a nice deal. As I am used to from Coolblue, ordering and delivery with CoolblueFietst went smoothly and I was able to start electric brushing the next day.
I have been brushing with this electric toothbrush for a week now and I must say that I am very satisfied with it. The toothbrush fits very nicely in the hand and cleans very finely and thoroughly. I personally find the first brushing mode a bit hard, as I suffer from sensitive teeth, so I use the second lighter brushing mode and it works perfectly for me. Thanks to the pressure sensor, a red light lights up on the back of the toothbrush when you press too hard while brushing. Very handy because I often didn't realize that I was pressing too hard. The built-in timer is also handy. The timer is set to 2 minutes and every 30 seconds the toothbrush will briefly vibrate so that you know that you have to brush a different zone of your teeth. Super handy and so you never brush too short again. For some people these features may be too limited, but for me it's all I need. I've also seen toothbrushes with 5 different positions, etc., but in practice you often don't use them and all those extra options can only break. The current 2 brushing modes and pressure sensor on this toothbrush are all I need.
I usually brush my teeth 2-3 times a day and I've been using the toothbrush for a week and haven't had to recharge the device since the first charge. According to the specifications on the Coolblue website, the battery life, with brushing twice a day, lasts about a week and so far that is also true.
A simple, but beautiful travel case is also included in which the toothbrush and two brush heads can be stored. I also immediately ordered 4 extra original Oral-B brush heads. Years ago I did electric brushing for a short period, and then I used fake brushes because I thought the original was too expensive, but I thought the difference in quality between original and fake was very big, so I ordered the right brushes right away.
All in all, I am very satisfied with this electric toothbrush and I can wholeheartedly recommend this Oral-B Pro 2 2500 to anyone who brushes or wants to brush electrically!
