The Leofoto EF-284CT + XB-32 Ballhead is a versatile and user-friendly tripod tripod. Due to the maximum carrying weight of 15 kilograms, you put a professional system or SLR camera with telephoto lens on the tripod. The maximum working height is 166 centimeters and the minimum working height is 21 centimeters. When folded, the stand is 46 centimeters, so it fits easily in your backpack or suitcase. The removable center column supplied is reversible, allowing you to shoot low to the ground. This makes the tripod suitable for macro photography. The tripod consists of 4 sections that you release and fix in no time. The rubber feet ensure that you put the legs firmly on a rough surface.
Good tripod for compact system cameras. Feels very stable and I can still take it on holiday without having to carry it around too much. Appearance is also good, matches the vintage look of my Fuji.

Nice tripod! It takes up little space and does not weigh much, even with a head, so it is easy to carry. Due to the central column, it can be quite high, and handy for macro because it can also be turned upside down, although it is a bit of a puzzle how that works exactly. Headset also feels firm. The tripod is in any case quite sturdy. Fits me really well!

As an adventure/outdoor photographer and filmmaker, a lightweight and rugged tripod that can take a beating is an essential part of my kit. Despite the use of carbon, this version is not directly the lightest option from Leofoto, but for activities in the mountains a slightly more robust tripod is very important. You immediately feel the sturdiness when setting up and with good balance you don't have to worry about a gust of wind blowing everything over. The rotary knob on the headset feels very natural and can be fine-tuned to the millimeter for the perfect angle with little effort. If you work in rougher terrain and you need extra grip at the bottom, you can easily loosen the lower part of the legs and exchange them for spikes.
