According to our television expert
The OLED screen provides deep black levels and a high contrast ratio.
The P5 image processor provides a true-to-life, colorful image reproduction.
Ambilight lights up the wall behind the TV in the colors of the image.
This TV doesn't have an integrated soundbar that produces a clear and powerful sound.
With the Philips 65OLED854, you can watch razor-sharp images and lifelike colors. This TV is equipped with an OLED screen, with thousands of pixels that individually light up or produce colors. As a result, black images are actually black, and you can enjoy a strong contrast. The P5 processor improves the image quality from any source, from a Blu-ray to a holiday video from your smartphone. As a result, images are extra sharp, colorful, and smooth. Thanks to the three-sided Ambilight, you can give your viewing experience a whole new dimension. These lights light up the wall behind the TV in the colors of the image. The stylish design has a chrome finish and is placed on a rotatable stand, so you can easily rotate the screen to face your viewing position.
A feast for the eyes, this OLED TV from Philips. As always delivered the next day by Coolblue. Installation went very smoothly. A moment of panic when after the language choice the OK button on the remote control did not seem to work for 5 minutes, but then a connection was made and the rest was a piece of cake. Tip: on the website www.homecinemamagazine.nl/2019/07/review-philips-55oled804-oled-tv/ you will find image settings for this 65 (of55) OLED804 that experts consider to be optimal. Worth a try! And oh yes, if you've watched a few programs with ambilight, you'll soon want nothing else. Especially nature documentaries or films with a lot of variety, the images are simply delicious and then the ambilight provides added value.

This device replaces my "old" 55 inch Philips UHD LED device. Was a bit hesitant about the switch to 65 inches in size, but oh that's not that bad. Furthermore, the device delivers everything that it promises so far, insanely beautiful image. Excellent Android TV experience (I compare it with my Nvidia Shields) and a range of connectivity and other options. It costs something, but then you also have something. Can go years ahead.

You can do a lot with it, including surfing the internet, viewing photos and watching movies on your phone. I'm super satisfied with it. Really recommended.
