According to our drill expert
Besides drilling, you can also use the machine for light chiseling work, like demolishing a brick wall or chiseling tiles.
You can drill holes of up to 40 millimeters in concrete, which is enough for almost any job in and around the house.
With a 9-joule impact force, it's suitable for breaking floors, demolishing walls, and chiseling tiles.
Weighing 12 kilograms, the machine is relatively hard to control.
If you're looking for a user-friendly combi hammer for occasional drilling and chiseling, the Powerplus POWX1179 is a good choice. You can use this 1600-watt hammer drill to not only drill 40mm holes in concrete, but with the chisel function, you can also chisel those old tiles in the kitchen or bathroom. The included drill and chisels stay firmly put in the drill head, even during heavy DIY jobs, thanks to the SDS-Max connector. Now that's safe! The POWX1179 has a 9-joule impact force and makes 3800 impacts per minute. As long as the vibrations aren't too hard on your arms, you can use the combi hammer for all kinds of renovation work.

Use this regularly and have to say that it is a good and powerful device at a very nice price.

What I bought it for, it more than meets the requirements, cutting and drilling for a major renovation. It is not a Bosch or Makita but for that price above expectations.
