According to our WiFi speaker expert
You can stream music wirelessly via WiFi or AirPlay 2.
If you want to make a stereo pair, choose 2 One SL speakers or combine the One SL with a regular Sonos One.
Thanks to the water resistant design, this speaker is suitable for the bathroom.
The One SL doesn't have an integrated voice assistant, so you have to connect it to another Sonos speaker if you want to use voice commands.
If you want to use Trueplay, you have to have an iOS device, such as an iPhone.
With the Sonos One SL, you can stream music wirelessly via your WiFi network and AirPlay 2. Choose this WiFi speaker if you want to create a Sonos audio system or already have one or more Sonos speakers. You can easily stream music via Spotify using WiFi and your smartphone. Thanks to AirPlay 2, the connection between the One SL and your Apple device is easy to establish. This allows you to easily stream music with your iPhone or use Siri to operate the speaker. Not only can you use this speaker in your living room or bedroom, you can also use it in the bathroom. The water resistant design allows you to listen to music when you're in the shower or taking a bath.
Note: Sonos products don't work via the 5GHZ network. Always make sure that your WiFi is installed on the 2.4GHZ network before purchasing a Sonos product.
