I easily get 40% humidity, 50% still works, but then it shifts up a gear and makes more noise, although this is certainly within limits. I forgot to fill it yesterday and the humidity dropped to 30% in a few hours, which underlines its effectiveness. In freezing weather outside you can count on the fact that you won't get 24 hours to reach 50% with the water tank of 5 liters. To keep everything hygienic, the filters must also be replaced annually. Once a year I wash the insides out and clean the vanes by soaking them in a solution of water and vinegar, this is the easiest way to dissolve the lime that builds up. Do not use boiling water as the blades will deform.
