According to our steam cleaner expert
The steam cleaner is heated up and ready for use in 30 seconds.
You can easily adjust the steam power to suit the cleaning job at hand.
The steam pressure of 3 bar is relatively low, which means surfaces won't be as clean.
The water tank can only hold 0.5 liters, so you'll have to refill more often.
Cleaning your tile floor, carpet, and rug becomes a lot easier with the Karcher SC3 Upright. This steam cleaner is easy to use and cleans hard floors quickly and hygienically with steam. You don't need to add any detergent to the water tank, only water. When you turn on the steam cleaner, it's ready for use in just 30 seconds. Is the microfiber cloth dirty after you've used it to clean? Just put it in the washing machine. That way, it'll be ready to use when you need it for your next cleaning job.
Overall, the product does what it claims. Keep in mind, however, that on smooth ceramic tiles (or eg shiny natural stone thresholds) the end result remains quite wet and can even leave water marks. The device works perfectly on a slightly matt or rougher tile and the floor also dries quickly. At the lightest steam power, laminate is also ok, but also quite wet. That is why I quickly go over the shiny tiles and laminate with a dry mop for a perfect end result. For that good result, vacuuming is of course necessary first. Finally, the radius is rather limited due to the limited length of the cord and the water tank, but still fine for an apartment. Refilling with water is always possible and easy.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. The only downside is that it is a 'heavy' weight to go around the entire house. Feel your shoulders for a moment. Otherwise a great product, compact and easy and quick to use

The fast heating time is very nice 1 device so not something you have to take with you and break your neck over
