According to our air purifier expert
Thanks to the child safety lock, children can't adjust the settings.
This air purifier is suitable for reducing allergies and asthma symptoms.
You're always up to date on the current air quality thanks to the air quality indicator.
Because you have to replace the filters after a while, the appliance isn't completely maintenance-free.
Thanks to the compact size of the Philips AC0820/10, you can easily place this air purifier on your nightstand. To clean the air, this purifier has 3 settings. It has a sleeping mode, automatic mode, and turbo mode. With these settings, the functioning of the device changes, and the brightness of the display as well. That's useful, because you won't have a bright light in the bedroom with sleeping mode. In the automatic mode, the air purifier measures the quality of the air and adjust its settings to it. On the display, you can see what the current air quality is. This air purifier removes allergens, dust particles, and pollen from a room up to 38m².
Note: if the filter replacement light flashes, you have to replace the filter. That happens after about 12 months. If you don't do this, the air purifier can stop working.
The air in the house is really cleaner. When I started there was a strong smell of smoke, pollen, and all at once. Now it smells fresh and I no longer experience hay fever complaints indoors. As soon as I get out it starts right up again. This confirms that the interior has been filtered out.

I immediately noticed that the air felt better and healthier when using this air purifier. As soon as the air purifier receives something such as cooking smell or perfume smell, it starts immediately. The air purifier has a nice and compact design. Also fits well with our interior. I definitely recommend this air purifier if you have allergies or suffer from hay fever, but also if you want to live in healthy and clean air at home. I really notice that I sleep better and suffer less from red eyes due to allergies and hay fever. It really helps.

I have used the device in several locations. In the kitchen, the device quickly switches to a higher setting when cooking is taking place. I also noticed that a higher setting was sometimes switched on during ironing. In the bedroom, the device works quietly and often on the most silent setting. When a cupboard or drawer was opened, I often noticed that the device accelerated for a short time. Then you quickly think that there is a musty smell in a cupboard that is released when you open it. The air quality, especially during placement in the bedroom, did indeed feel fresher during use, both for the feeling and for the nose. I also used the device in 'sleep mode' for several nights. Sometimes when I wake up I have a stuffy nose, so I thought let's try and see if this is less the case if I leave the air purifier on. The 4 nights that I did this were in any case positive. I can imagine that this is also a pleasant option to use in the spring when I suffer from a lot of hay fever! The noise level of the device is acceptable in most modes. However, only in the highest position did I find it disturbingly noisy. Fortunately, this is almost never the case if you leave the air purifier on the automatic setting. I can be brief about the design. In my opinion, the device fits in many different interiors and almost always does its work quietly in the background. This way you don't have to worry about it yourself and you can enjoy the fun things to do at home!
