Our choice for an automatic paper shredder
The automatic paper feeder is ideal if you have a lot of paper to shred. Although the throughput should be able to handle up to 100 sheets according to the documentation, that has not been my experience. 20-25 sheets are the maximum. It's not whisper quiet, but it doesn't make a lot of noise either.

It is slow and paper is processed one sheet at a time. In the meantime it crashes regularly. Feeder doesn't really work well. Expensive solution.

I had a similar shredder before. Technically top. Only this one smells strongly chemical from the packaging and keeps doing this. I have registered it for return.

With the Fellowes Automax 100M paper shredder, you can automatically shred 100 sheets into micro shreds. This shredder is hybrid, so you can manually feed up to 10 sheets at the same time or let it automatically shred 100 sheets of paper. Thanks to the automatic reverse function, the paper shredder pushes the sheets back out by itself. Shred all sheets of paper into 1,556 small shreds with the DIN P-4 security standard. With the Automax 100M, you can destroy not only paper, but also staples, paper clips, and credit cards. Thanks to the sleep mode, the paper shredder automatically turns off when you don't use it. The 65-decibel noise level is similar to a normal speaking volume. The removable container lets you empty your paper shredder easily and quickly, so you can keep going.
Note: you can only destroy staples, credit cards, and paper clips via the manual feed.
