According to our powerline adapter expert
You can install this powerline adapter quickly and easily with the Devolo app.
Thanks to the compact size of the WiFi point, you can place it anywhere.
This WiFi powerline adapter has advanced functions such as fast roaming, so you have a fast wireless connection everywhere.
This WiFi powerline adapter doesn't have a built-in socket.
The maximum speed of powerline adapters depends on the AC power in your home.
Expand your WiFi network with the Devolo Magic 1 WiFi Mini Multi-Room Kit. With this set of 3 powerline adapters, you can create 2 extra WiFi points and network connections in your home. The powerline adapters communicate with each other via a mesh network, so you're always connected to the strongest WiFi point in your home. That means you can go online wirelessly on 2 floors and you create network connections for your smart TV, gaming console, or desktop computer. The network signal goes through the socket, so you don't have to run any cables.
I have internet in the attic without much hassle, ideal! Because it works well, the price is justified. The installation is not completely flawless, but if you stay calm and don't panic about lights that do something slightly different than the manual or the internet that suddenly doesn't work at all, it will be all right in the end. After cloning your current network, it is not entirely clear whether it works and whether you actually switch between your own modem and the devolo. It is also a pity that with a double socket you cannot fully use the remaining contact, a small plug will fit, but a large one will not. This does not alter the fact that I now have beautiful and well-functioning internet in the attic without drilling or pulling cables.

Purchased to also have WiFi in the back of the garden. Although the garden shed is far from the meter box, the promised speeds are achieved. Tip, if you already have WiFi in the house to which this adapter is an extension, don't forget to also do the optional steps from the manual. In this way, the adapter hangs in the same network.

Bought to install Wi-Fi in a garden shed and also immediately improve the Wi-Fi in the house. The attic router can be easily expanded with these two WiFi access points and within half an hour good 2.4GHz coverage throughout the house. Transition between access points can be even smoother, because now WiFi drops for a while before it takes the next AP. But very satisfied with the result.
