According to our External SSD expert
With the fingerprint scanner, you can lock your files with one touch.
The T7 Touch is smaller than a business card and only as thick as a pencil.
You transfer files at 1GB per second, which means you can transfer a 4K movie in less than a minute.
The included USB-A and USB-C cables are 0.5 meters long, which isn't very long.
The Samsung T7 Touch Portable SSD 2TB Black is the compact and superfast successor to the Samsung T5. You can transfer your favorite movies and photos at 1GB/s with this speed devil, which is twice as fast as with the T5. As a result, you'll have a 4K movie of 50GB on your SSD in less than a minute. Another nice touch by Samsung is the fingerprint scanner. It allows you to secure your important files with just one touch. This device is only 8.5 centimeters long and weighs 58 grams, so you can easily put it in your pocket. Did you accidentally drop it? No worries. The SSD has a metal exterior is drop proof up to 2 meters, so it can take a hit. The T7 works with almost any device that has a USB-A or USB-C port.
I like it very much. Is lightning fast with USB C. Copying large files > 20 GB is super fast with my MacBook Pro. In addition, all files are only visible on the SSD after you have logged in with your fingerprint or a code.

The SSD is very fast (faster than my USB ports can handle) and definitely recommended. It's also much smaller than I imagined, about the same size as a debit card and slightly thicker. There is an error in the supplied software, which caused me to have problems playing a game on the SSD, but after downloading the software again from the Samsung website, that problem was solved.
