According to our gaming headset expert
You can hear where the sound is coming from with surround sound, which is useful in shooters to hear where your opponent is walking, for example.
With the dense design of the ear cups, you'll be less bothered by ambient noise.
This headset supports 3D audio on the PlayStation 5, so you can clearly hear the direction of the sound.
The connection cable is 1.3 meters long, so you don't have much room left when wearing the headset.
Play games on any platform with surround sound with the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Gaming Headset. Plug the 3.5mm cable into the connector of your PC or console and get started with the headset right away. You can even hear exactly where your opponents are thanks the surround sound, so you'll become the winner of every 1v1. On top of that, this headset supports 3D audio on the PS5 for even better in-game audio. Playing with your friends? Connect the microphone and give directions so they know where the opponent is. You can hear the in-game sounds well, because you won't hear your neighbors vacuuming with the closed ear cups. You can also easily control the volume on the ear cups while gaming.

In the beginning I was very happy with the headset, when I put it on my head it felt super comfortable without pressure on your head and I did not expect that from a steelseries headset, I had seen it in other reviews but hadn't expected it to be so comfortable as steelseries sibreria wasn't that comfortable on your head at all. Only the headset is a bit big.
When I went to connect it to my computer you had to make some effort, create an account on steelseries itself and fill in a code that comes with it, I already had the engine since I use more products from steelseries, but if you don't you also have to download that, in the program you can adjust whether or not you want 7.1 surround etc.
Once that was done I tested sound and it was very good sound quality, but that's what steelseries is known for. The Microphone is very good for gaming and in my opinion is also one of the best gaming headset microphones.
If you don't like soft ear pads, you can always learn to get it and you can also buy another headband so you can make the headset to your style.
It is very convenient that it comes with dual 3.5mm extension cable and a 4-pole 3.5mm adapter, one is in my computer and the other is in my controller for the console.
I hope I've informed you enough about my experience and that it can help your choices about whether or not to make it.
