Description

The ETNA KIF670DS has flexible cooking zones which you can easily connect to each other. This way, you'll have enough room for a grill plate or a roasting tray. You can control all cooking zones with their own sensor buttons. This means you don't have to select a cooking zone first. Use the pause function when you have unexpected guests or a call. The cooktop remembers the settings and will continue where you left off with the push of a button. You can use the defrost setting to heat up chocolate without burning it. You can also use this setting to defrost meat. Thanks to the child safety lock, you don't have to worry about the cooktop switching on when children touch it.

Note: the required 5-pin Perilex connector isn't included. Make sure to order it separately. The connector has to be connected to the cooktop by an electrician, because the connector of each outlet is different.

Does what your gas plate does, but better

Switched from gas to induction. Exciting at first, but it has proven itself from meal 1!

"Easy to learn, hard to master" sums up this hob nicely;

Turning on and turning a burner harder/softer speaks for itself.
Using the timer takes a little more effort.
Switching on the keep warm function or linking the zones could not be done without a manual.

Furthermore, a pan of lukewarm water can be boiled within 5 minutes with the boost function. You can easily clean the plate with a little washing-up liquid and a cloth.

Can't say much more about it; The plate is wonderful to cook on and makes the switch to induction a simple choice. The matte black design is very cool.

Oh yeah; I was able to reuse most of my pans. That you have to replace all your pans is nonsense, you just have to check whether they are suitable, are not (too much) warped and do not have sharp edges on the bottom!
