According to our smartwatch expert
Nightly Recharge measures how well you recover from the day at night, so you can adjust your training accordingly.
Shows heart rate zones during training, so you can focus specifically on improving your endurance, for example.
Thanks to the Hill Splitter function, you get insight into your results during ascents and descents in hills or mountains.
The watch doesn't support music storage, so you have to take your phone with you each workout.
The Polar Grit X Black is a robust sports watch that meets the military standard. This makes it suitable for outdoor adventurers, military soldiers, and athletes who are exercising on rough terrain. Think of mountain bikers who cycle on virtually impassable trails, for example. The Grit X has an accurate heart rate measurement for a watch. Instead of the 9 LED lights that you're used to from Polar, this one has 10. In addition to the touchscreen, the sports watch also has SuperGrip buttons. They have extra relief, so you can also control the watch with wet or sweaty hands. Thanks to the navigation, the digital compass, and the trackback function, you'll always find your way back. With a battery life of 40 hours in training mode with GPS on, and 100 hours in power saving mode, you can also wear it during a triathlon. Thanks to the transflective screen, you can still read your data well in full sunlight.
Note: a charger adapter isn't included. Do you want to charge the watch from a socket? Use the charger adapter of your phone, or order a charger adapter
I didn't want to spend double for some of the competing brands, but you'll get an equivalent watch for it. Very happy with the nightly recharge function. Watch is an old one to operate and yet the possibilities are enormous.

As a CrossFitter I need a watch that can track my data for strength training as well as for walking, rowing, swimming... The Grit X is the max! I am a huge fan of Fuelwise. With this I know perfectly how many carbohydrates, proteins and fats I have burned after my training and I can supplement in a more targeted way. I also think the extensive feedback about your sleeping pattern is very important. In short, a must for those who just want that extra feedback.
