Excellent reciprocating saw. Sawn an entire hardwood deck into pieces in one morning. The included saw blade for wood is used for convenience, but is more intended for softer and thinner material or branches. After this job, this top was bent from the heat, but it still did its job. The recipro works as well as the blade, so make sure you have the right and high-quality saw blade for every job.
The plus point of this saw is its power (strong), solid construction and rubber heat protection around the mounting system. Also an excellent price. Furthermore, like any reciprocating machine, these machines are often heavy and have a lot of vibrations during sawing. I actually don't think this is a downside, it's more of an inherent feature of these powerful saws.
When in doubt, do it!

We like this Makita reciprocating saw so much that all the beams in the house have been sawn through. It is super powerful and cuts as if the wood is not there. Within 20 seconds the beam of more than 20 cm is split in half! Hubby just can't sleep with it on

According to our reciprocating saw expert
After use, you can neatly store the reciprocating saw in the included tool case.
You can quickly cut off large pieces of materials with a 30mm saw stroke length.
You receive 3 saw blades, so you have a supply.
A reciprocating saw without brushless motor consumes more energy and doesn't last as long.
You can saw nails, metal pipes, or window frames superfast and with enough force with the Makita JR3051TK. The 1200W reciprocating saw has a switch to choose the speed in a very controlled way, so you won't damage your workpiece. Thanks to the 30mm saw stroke length, you can work just a bit faster than with reciprocating saws with a lower stroke length. If you want to change saw blades to saw in different materials, for example, you can do this very efficiently with a single movement of your finger. The JR3051TK includes 3 saw blades and a useful storage case.
