First impression My first impression of the soundbar is that it is small and compact in size. When I take it out of the package, I notice that it is lightweight. Installation is fast The installation runs smoothly and is completed within 5 minutes. I follow the steps in the quick start guide and don't have to go through difficult steps or download an app. The television immediately recognizes the speaker and immediately sends all audio to the soundbar.

Sound surprises me When I test the soundbar with a round of Netflix, I am pleasantly surprised. There's a lot of power and volume coming out of this little device. Even for a party at home, this speaker would produce sufficient volume. When I watch a series, the voices sound clear and the basses sound deep.

When I connected the speaker and turned on the TV, I immediately got a message that the battery of the remote control was completely empty and it had to be replaced. Not quite what you expect from an expensive speaker that comes brand new out of the box. This was only a minor inconvenience because every household has a CR2032 lying around. However, this could have been prevented by providing the remote control with a 'tab' so that the battery is not drained by default. But then the sound itself. At first I thought I didn't hear any sound yet and that I was listening to my TV. As it turns out, the sound quality is barely better than my budget flat screen with mediocre speakers. So this was quite a disappointment. There is little depth in the sound, which you see a lot with (also much cheaper) conventional speakers. This is definitely not what I'm used to from Bose.
