According to our powerline adapter expert
You use this powerline adapter to stream, download, or play games.
This WiFi powerline adapter has advanced functions such as fast roaming, so you have a fast wireless connection everywhere.
Thanks to MU-MIMO, you can set up a stable WiFi network, so your internet doesn't slow down when you go online with many people at the same time.
With a length of 15cm, this powerline is larger than most powerlines.
The maximum speed of powerline adapters depends on the AC power in your home.
Provide multiple floors in your house with stable WiFi with this Devolo Magic 2 WiFi Next Multi-Room Kit. With this set of 3 powerline adapters, you can create 2 hotspots with WiFi. And thanks to MU-MIMO, it always remains stable. Even if you stream or game with several people at the same time. You can also go online wirelessly in the bedroom or study. Thanks to the 2 built-in network connections, you can provide your smart TV, game console, or laptop with internet access. The maximum speed ensures that you stream, game, or download without lags. And the network signal runs through the socket, so you don't have to pull any cables through your house.
Initially a little puzzle to configure, that did not work immediately as described in the booklet. But after some patience and manual configuration it worked. Now that it's installed, it's running like clockwork. Bought Cat6A cables myself.

I have lost count of how many I have installed with acquaintances, friends and family. In my old farm of 32 meters long I even have 9 running because of walls that are almost a meter thick. Installing several at the same time does not always go well. I now know to turn off "cloning" for example. Furthermore, there are no in-depth "best practices" about the installation for fine-tuning. But unpacking and installing usually goes smoothly without having to make any deep adjustments to the settings. However, I can recommend some knowledge of IT systems to install them really well. I've been running the 9 pieces in my own house for a few years now and every now and then a restart is needed (unplug and put back in). But other than that I am satisfied with the performance. The speeds mentioned are marketing numbers. Take into account about half of really good electrical cables in your house (with earth). Also worth noting is the low latency of 1 msec (via the Ethernet port). In the accompanying image you can see the effect of speed over good (and short), but also over longer and older electrical cables in a large old building.
