Dit horloge heeft een grote horlogekast. We raden het je aan als je een polsomtrek tussen de 17 en 19 centimeter hebt. Meet je polsomtrek 2 vingers boven je polsgewricht, net boven het uitstekende gedeelte. Is jouw polsomtrek kleiner of groter? Dan is dit horloge misschien niet het beste voor jou. Lees welk formaat horlogekast we wel aanraden.

According to our smartwatch expert
The watch shows heart rate zones during your workout, so you can focus specifically on endurance, for example.
You can navigate via your smartwatch and register your route traveled.
With ANT+, you can connect multiple sensors at the same time.
It's not possible to reply to incoming messages via your smartwatch.
You can't control your music with your watch.
With the Garmin Forerunner 245 Gray, you can always keep an eye on your heart rate. The built-in heart rate sensor measures your heart rate throughout the day. During workouts, the Garmin gives you information about the calories you burn, the amount of steps you take, and the distance you travel. With a virtual opponent, you can challenge yourself to achieve even better sports performance. Thanks to ANT+, you can also connect a separate chest strap to the watch for even more accurate heart rate readings. The Garmin Forerunner 245 has a built-in GPS sensor, so you can leave your phone at home while running. Your watch navigates for you and keeps track of where you walked. You can also receive incoming messages and phone calls on the Garmin Forerunner.
This watch is recommended for a wrist circumference of 15 to 17cm. Note: a charger isn't included. Do you want to charge the watch via a socket? Order an adapter separately.
The Forerunner 245 is my first sports/smartwatch. It is much lighter than I thought and I am impressed by the options and the accompanying data (smartphone) app. Heart rate and GPS work perfectly. Battery fine and charges quickly. I compared the specs of many watches beforehand and this one was in the sweet spot for me: serious heart rate measurement (highly regarded and otherwise possible) with various sports/rest recommendations, waterproof and music controls. I don't need a barometer. The oxygen measurement would be less and it is a pity that the sleep measurement does not seem reliable. Still very impressive and fine watch if your focus is on sports. Worth the money for me.

The forerunner is an excellent support when running. During exercise you will see the most relevant information on the display, via the app you can see much more about how your workout was. The smart watch functions are also excellent. The downside is the menu structure: it is not very intuitive and it takes a while before you learn it urgently.
