According to our semi-automatic espresso machine expert
With the tamper and milk pitcher, you can start making coffee right away.
Thanks to the small size, it takes up less space on your countertop than other piston machines.
Your cup of coffee stays hot for longer on the heating plate.
Without a bean grinder, you can't grind coffee beans yourself, so you have to purchase it separately.
With frequent use, you have to refill the 1L water tank often.
The De'Longhi Dedica Metellics EC 785 Cream is a compact piston machine, and it comes with a milk pitcher, and a tamper to make a cup of coffee right away. With the steam wand and the milk pitcher, you can froth milk for a cappuccino or a latte macchiato. The adjustable cappuccino system and the double drip tray allow you to make different types of coffee. You can also heat the cups first on the heating plate at the top of the machine. You can make 1 or 2 espressos at the same time. It's easy to operate the machine with the 3 buttons on the control panel. Are you in a hurry? Use ESE servings, so you can simply make a coffee with a coffee pad.
Note: it takes time and patience to learn how to prepare a tasty coffee with a piston machine. This is a lot less easy as with a fully automatic espresso machine.

This is our second device. It was immediately clear to us that no other coffee maker wanted.

It is very nice to make a cup of coffee this way. You have to take the time for it, but it is a lot tastier. It also looks very nice in your kitchen and does not take up much space. I had ordered a separate milk jug with it, because it was not stated in the description whether this was included, but it is included.
