With the SMEG TSF01BLMEU Matte Black toaster, your slices of bread are toasted in no time. The toaster has a high power of 950W. You can choose between 6 different modes. This way, you can make your bread as crunchy as you want. It has 3 automatic programs, with which you can warm up, defrost, or toast one-sided. That last function is useful for when you want to make a bagel. Place the bread in the slots and push the lever down. When the slices are crunchy enough, they're pushed up automatically. After use, you can easily clean the crumb tray. You can neatly store the connector at the back.

This very nice, solidly built toaster is an asset to the kitchen, in terms of design! We found it a bit problematic to find the right temperature setting, because why does it reach position 6, while a slice of bread is almost black on 3? We also found the slots a bit too short, so you quickly have to push down a (slightly too long) sandwich.....! For "Sustainability" I give 4 stars for the time being, based on the construction method, but not on "long-term experience" yet! (only owned for a week)
