In my opinion the best action camera at the moment! In use for a week now.... filming in 5K with the improved image stabilization (Hypersmooth 3.0) and the screen on the front is really an improvement over the previous GoPros. Features like TimeWrap 3.0 and Scheduled Capture complete the camera for me.

Beautifully smooth video with HyperSmooth 3.0! The color screen on the front is very useful for selfies or if you want to start vlogging. On my mountain bike routes I have of course been able to look back on beautiful and spectacular images! My previous GoPro was a HERO Black 7 that I was already very satisfied with. Unfortunately, the screen had failed and the HERO Black 7 was no longer available. A known flaw of GoPro and is covered by the 2-year warranty. This also had consequences for the accessories of the HERO Black 7 in which Coolblue also met me. The batteries and charger could no longer be used for the HERO Black 9 because everything is slightly larger than the previous versions. Because the price difference between the HERO black 8 and 9 was not that big, my choice fell on the 9. After setting up the GoPro and doing a firmware update, both batteries want to charge. However, this lasted almost 9 hours with 2 batteries of 1720 mAh with their own fast charger. With the supplied battery cables (USB-C to USB-A) the maximum charging capacity cannot be reached either, since USB-C to USB-C is faster. As a result, the Supercharger from GoPro (€49.99) purchased itself, which does include this cable, after which charging 2 batteries took about 2 hours. A significant improvement. Actually, it should come with the charger. (So a snag from GoPro). Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the GoPro HERO Black 9 and hope to have a lot of fun with it!
