According to our vacuum expert
The crevice tool with lighting ensures you'll never miss any dirt, not even in those hard-to-reach corners.
Thanks to the powerful V8 motor, you can vacuum continuously for 25 to 40 minutes.
The turbo brush makes this stick vacuum very suitable for low-pile and high-pile carpet.
With a 82dB noise level, this stick vacuum is very loud.
The turbo mode requires a lot of battery power, so the battery will only last 7 minutes if you use this mode.
The comprehensive Dyson V8 Absolute+ makes dust a thing of the past in your home. With the included accessories, you use the vacuum on rugs, carpets, and on wood flooring. Thanks to the LED crevice tool, the areas you're cleaning are clearly visible and you won't miss a single spot. The powerful V8 motor lets you vacuum for up to 40 minutes without any break. Are you using the turbo mode to vacuum the carpet in the living room in one go? Keep in mind that the battery will only last 10 minutes. You can easily turn the stick vacuum into a handheld vacuum with a motorized mini brush for quick cleaning jobs, like crumbs on the couch.
Hygienic and easy to empty
Dyson has gone all-out to make sure that the V8 is user-friendly. As a result, emptying the dust cup of the Dyson V8 isn't a dusty chore anymore. If you pull the red lever on the motor unit, the flap at the bottom of the dust cup opens. Make sure you do this over the trash can, or you'll have to vacuum again.
The digital V8 motor
The digital motor of the V8 spins with a speed of 110.000 rotations per minute. This is thanks to the digital pulse technology. With this smart technology, the V8 produces a constant suction, so you never have to worry that you're short on suction power.
Battery
The battery of the V8 can store a lot of energy and, more importantly, release this quickly as well. This way, the vacuum retains its suction power and a fully-charged battery lets you vacuum for up to 40 minutes at the lowest setting.
Cleaning performance
Price-quality ratio
Maneuverability
I have a Dyson DC62, I believe it has lasted 7 years with me. He just doesn't want to break down, doesn't want to stop his activities. I'm going to give him a quieter life elsewhere in my house now. That's…..because of a friend. He bought a Dyson V8 Absolute +. Well, only that name and the addition “+” (from plus, even more) piqued my interest. Not to mention excitement.
The illuminated crevice tool not only sounds good but is extremely handy. If you vacuum the baseboards, you never actually see what you're doing, you quickly conclude that there is nothing to vacuum. But….with the lighting on that accessory…. Not a superfluous luxury to “take” those skirting boards with you. A really handy addition.
The motorized mini brush is almost an even better addition. Instead of helping the beautiful carpet on the stairs to the ceilings with a plastic attachment, the mini brush rolls pleasantly over the angular steps. How do you get there; very nice!
And then emptying the dust container which was a bit of a challenge. It did work, but with a certain risk. Usually it happened to me that I tried to empty that bin in a big cloud of dust outside (!) when the wind was just blowing my way. Unfortunate. But that too has been updated. You can now handle the emptying process even indoors without risk. Awesome.
The sound the V8 Absolute+ makes is the sound of a vacuum cleaner having a good time. In any case, less noise than the old one, and that was fine with me. The wall charger has remained the same so drilling holes again is not necessary unless you move because of that beautiful new machine. New Dyson, new house they say.
I really just wanted to say that I already loved that friend, moving in with her because of that Dyson V8 Absolutely + she thought it was a good idea, good excuse. However, I wanted a copy entirely for myself. So purchased and immediately put into use. Awesome!

We have a Golden Retriever who sheds a lot and likes to dive in mud puddles, so he is ideal for sand hairs, much more results than with a regular vacuum cleaner and then of course no vacuum cleaner bag

It is a nice product, only useful if your house is always clean and if you use it next to a regular vacuum cleaner. But that is not the reason why you purchase such an expensive vacuum cleaner.
