According to our robot vacuum expert
You can program the robot several days in advance, so you can set a cleaning schedule.
With the lasers, the vacuum cleaner creates a virtual map of the room, so it doesn't miss anything and avoids obstacles.
When the battery is charged, the robot vacuum will automatically return to where it left off.
The robot vacuum doesn't have a mopping function.
The iRobot Roomba 976 is part of the Roomba 900 series of robot vacuum cleaners. The robot can be operated via an app, which makes it nice and user-friendly. This way, you can also put it to work when you're at the office or on the train. The double rubber brushes are suitable for any floor type. These are very sturdy and adapt to carpet and hard floors by bending. The robot vacuums for about an hour and a half on a full battery. Did it run out during the vacuuming job? The robot vacuum will return to the charging dock by itself. When its fully charged again, it will complete the program. This robot vacuum doesn't have a mopping function, but can be connected to the iRobot Braava mopping robots, thanks to the Imprint Link technology.

I expected much more from this device. We have 2 flat mats, which he simply blocks on. Sometimes he gets over it. Sometimes not. Often also gives the message that it has jammed just halfway through the living room, and it does not remember a map. He creates a map every time, and you cannot “teach” your own map.

Tray too small if you have dogs. Too bad this vacuum cleaner is 'Coolblues choice' for the option 'against pet hair'. I regret my purchase.
