According to our temperature sensor expert
You know the exact temperature of the room you're in at home.
You can also easily set the radiator thermostat from this sensor.
The sensor works on batteries, so you can place it anywhere.
This temperature sensor only works in combination with a Tado starter pack.
You need radiator knobs if you also want the sensor to adjust the temperature besides measuring it.
The Tado Wireless Temperature Sensor is an expansion for your Tado smart thermostat valve. You can place this extra sensor in a spot where you want to know and control the temperature. Mount it in your sitting area so you're never too cold or warm there, for example. On top of that, the sensor measures the temperature further away from the radiator. This allows you to more precisely see the temperature of the entire room. Via the sensor, you can also set the temperature on the linked radiator thermostat.

Installation
My house is heated by district heating with radiators without a thermostat. So it was always either on or off, without central temperature control. With this Tado temperature sensor in combination with the Tado radiator knob, I can now control my temperature centrally

Connected to existing TADO network within 5 minutes to regulate the temperature in the kitchen separately. Due to a radiator conversion, the button does not measure the correct temperature and this external sensor is a godsend.

Have 2 Tado radiator taps in this room. Temperature was therefore only measured on one of these taps. Now this Tado wireless thermostat is the measuring point and is central to this room. This results in a better constant temperature measurement.
