According to our game expert
Swing through New York as Miles Morales in this new story and discover new powers.
This game is a successor to Spider-Man, which was released in 2018.
You can upgrade this game to PS5 for free.
This PS4 game has lesser graphics, longer loading times, and fewer exclusive features than the PS5 version.
This game doesn't have a multiplayer mode, so you can't play together with your friends.
Put on the Spider-Man suit and be the hero in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the PlayStation 4. In this open-world game, you have incredible powers and fight evil. Float between the tall buildings of Harlem, New York, during a war between tech companies. You can play this game with 1 player at most.
Free PS5 upgrade
You can play this game on the PS5. You put the game disc in the PS5 console and install the game. When the installation is finished, you can play the game on your PlayStation 5. You have to keep the disc in the console to keep playing.
For someone who has never owned a gaming console before, this game will be a hit! Admittedly, Marvel and its superheroes have always captivated me. And now to take on the role of Spiderman... Cool! In the beginning it is quite difficult to get to know the many button combinations (probably also due to the fact that I had no PS experience) and new moves are added quickly, but you get used to it quickly: practice makes perfect : -) Of course this does not mean that it gets boring after a while. The game remains challenging with new moves and challenges. The graphics are great (even though I don't play it on a 4K TV), the story is good and compelling and there are fun side stories where you don't always have to beat the bad guys. Sometimes you just have to catch a pigeon ;-) It's also nice that the DualSense has to be "swiped" to open the Spiderman app. Lifelike! ;-) Occasionally there are additional movies to tell the story, but these are never boring, they never last long. In other (PC) games this could sometimes come across as disturbing and boring. So absolutely not the case here. After a week of not playing very intensively (15 hours in total maybe?) I am at 62% game completion, which gives me the feeling that the game will be finished relatively quickly. But hey, it's a perfect evening/weekend activity. And when the game is over, just start over and play it better than last time ;-) One thing I can finally add: addictive!
