According to our projector expert
This projector projects sharp images thanks to the Full HD resolution.
Thanks to the light output of 3600 ANSI lumens, you can also clearly see the projections in large spaces.
With the keystone correction, you can correct the vertical line of the image up to 40 degrees.
This projector doesn't have a smart platform, so you can only play content via a laptop or Chromecast, for example.
The fan in the projector makes noise, so you can hear it while you watch a movie.
With the Optoma HD146X, you can watch a movie or present your work to colleagues in good image quality. The Full HD resolution ensures that you can see all details well, such as small letters and numbers. You can connect your laptop via the HDMI port, and then project your photos, presentations, or Netflix movie on the wall. Thanks to the 3600 ANSI lumens light output, the Optoma HD146X provides enough light to also clearly show images during the day in lit rooms. Does the shape of the projection deviate? Correct the image vertically up to 40 degrees with the keystone correction, so the projection is square or rectangular again.
The Optoma HD146X has a 1.47-1.62:1 throw ratio, which means that you can place the projector between 1.47 and 1.62m distance from the screen for a 1m wide projection. For a 2m wide projection, double the distances to 2.94-3.24m. So check first where you want to place the projector and if you have space there.
Note: this projector has a projection distance between 1 and 10m, so in some cases you have to mount it to the ceiling with a projector mount.

Very nice beamer, gives a good image - even if you want to watch sports on a big screen in the garden on a sunny summer afternoon. What I wanted. This projector appears to be very suitable for that. Tastes differ, but I think it also looks very nice with the black design.

I bought it as an outdoor cinema. Connected to the chromecast ultra 2 (Google TV) that you can connect to that one HDMI. He then draws the power from the USB (there is only 1 of them).
Sound from the speakers is not great so I connected a separate sound box.
Screen sail hung and a perfect outdoor cinema for little money.
Let the EC begin :)
ps. With the chromecast Google TV and remote control, it is also a great alternative for an indoor TV.

Good picture for this price range. The beamer is not difficult to operate. Sound level in eco mode (with sufficient light output) is more than the specified value, but acceptable. Annoying that no horizontal keystone correction is possible.
