According to our earbuds expert
Active noise canceling mutes distracting ambient noise and white noise.
With the Jabra Sound+ app, you personalize the sound reproduction via an equalizer.
You charge the charging case wirelessly.
Noise canceling earbuds don't drown out ambient noise as much as noise-canceling headphones.
With the Jabra Elite 85t ANC, you decide how much you hear of your surroundings. You can choose one of the 5 noise canceling levels. The highest level gives the most noise reduction. This way, you control what you do and don't hear. with the equalizer in the Jabra Sound+ app, you can choose how your favorite music sounds. You can highlight the bass or choose a pre-set sound profile. The battery of the earbuds lasts 5.5 hours, the one of the charging case lasts 25 hours. If the battery of the case is empty, you can charge it with the included charging cable or via a wireless charger. A wireless charger isn't included by default.
Jabra Sound+ appYou can't only adjust the sound of the Jabra earbuds, but you can also adjust different settings. You can set the amount of noise canceling, get tips and tricks, and download updates for your earbuds.
Noise cancelingSpecial microphones in the earbuds always measure and analyze the ambient noise. Based on this analysis, it creates an anti-noise, so you hear less of your surroundings. Now you never have to increase the volume of your music in busy areas.
Note: Jabra does include a charging cable, but no charger. Use your current accessories, or purchase them separately.
Very nice earphones with high sound quality which can be adjusted as desired via an app. Fit is fantastic, almost forget you have them on. Ears have Active Noise Cancellation which works well, in addition there is a "hear through mode" so that you can understand people correctly with music on. It's also nice that the earphones can be connected to 2 devices at the same time and quickly switch between, for example, laptop and mobile. The only downside is that you hear wind noise in strong winds. Also highly recommended!

These earplugs are the best earbuds I've ever used. I've never really been a fan of earplugs over a decent over-ear headset but the Jabra elite 85t makes me rethink my opinion. Solid sound and bass for earplugs and with the app you can quickly personalize your experience (equalizer, personal fit, personal sound, personal settings of the button control). Although made for smartphones and tablets, the earbuds easily pair with all Bluetooth devices. Even a seamless experience with linking the chromecast with google tv. They are even compatible with the Jabra evolve 65 dongle for connection to the laptop.
The only downside I experience is that the left earplug is easily disturbed by the slightest interference. When paired with the laptop, you soon have crackles and noise in your ear due to the other signals that a laptop sends out. You can see from this that they have not been developed for use with computers. Fortunately, you can easily solve this because the earplugs are designed to be used as mono-ears. The judge does not have this problem due to the stable Bluetooth connection. The interference is only on the true wireless signal to the left bud.
The integration of the voice assistant is in my opinion wrongly advertised. It works with Google Assistant and Alexa, but only activates the assistant on your phone instead of an integrated function. This is not a problem in itself, but the usefulness is partly lost since the (google) assistant requires that your smartphone is unlocked for many functions. If you still have to take out your smartphone, you can just as well give instructions directly to your phone instead of via the earbuds.

I am highly sensitive and have mild tinnitus, so sound quality and wearing comfort are a priority for me. That is why I am very satisfied with these earphones. The noise canceling comes in handy on the train, where noise is suppressed and you can listen at a much lower volume. There is also an equalizer in the app that allows you to adjust the sound to your liking. Another advantage is that the buttons on the earphones are adjustable, which you don't have with all earphones.
