According to our projector expert
Even the smallest details of the image are clearly visible, thanks to the 4K resolution of this projector.
You can even see clear projections in a brightly-lit room thanks to the high light output of 4000 ANSI lumens.
Thanks to the low input lag of 4.2 of this projector, lag between the controller and the action on the screen is minimized when you're gaming.
This projector doesn't have a smart platform, so you can only play content via a laptop or Chromecast, for example.
With the Optoma UHD38x, you're ready for a movie. Thanks to the 4K resolution, the projector projects razor-sharp images and no detail will escape your eyes. The projector has a high light output of 4000 ANSI lumens, so you can see a clear projection even in a bright room. This makes the projector suitable for brightly-lit rooms like classrooms and meeting rooms. The UHD38 is also suitable for gaming, thanks to the 4.2ms input lag. This means that there's not much lag between the action of the controller and the movement on the screen. This way, you can race past your opponent or have your target in sight quickly during a thrilling shooter.
The Optoma UHD38 has a throw ratio of 1.5 - 1.66:1, which means that you can put the projector between 1.5 and 1.66m away from the screen for a projection that's 1m wide. If you want a projection that's 2m wide, you can double the distance to 3 - 3.32m. Be sure to check where you want to put the projector and if there's space.
