According to our IP camera expert
Thanks to the 4-megapixel resolution, the footage of the camera is sharper than that of cameras with Full HD resolution.
With the SD card slot, you can store footage directly on the camera.
This camera can pan, tilt, and zoom remotely.
You need a good WiFi signal where you're installing the camera. You can create a strong WiFi network near your camera with a WiFi extender.
The SD card to store footage isn't included by default.
The Imou Cruiser 4MP is a sturdy outdoor camera with pan and tilt function. The camera moves both upwards and sideways, so you can guard a larger part of the garden or driveway. A built-in spotlight and siren help to scare off intruders. Thanks to this spotlight, you can choose out of 4 different night vision modes, including color night vision. The 4-megapixel resolution footage of the camera is very sharp. The camera distinguishes people from animals, so you'll only receive relevant motion warnings. You can store the footage in the cloud, on a memory card, or on a network video recorder. If you want to include the Imou Cruiser in your smart home, you can connect it to Google Assistant or Alexa.

Too many unnecessary notifications in rain or fog

I connected the Imou Cruiser 4mp to my LAN and it worked immediately. Connecting to Surveillance Station on my Synology NAS took some time. I have used the ONVIF protocol and as user admin and password the security code via QR of the camera. The Cruiser immediately gives a notification when movement and the recording is immediately started on the NAS. For example, I have already received a number of visits from the heron in our backyard and chased him away in time.
