According to our binoculars expert
You can easily take the compact and lightweight 280-gram binoculars with you wherever you go.
The binoculars feature an 8x magnification with a field of view of 105 meters.
Thanks to the stepless twist-up eyepieces, the binoculars are also suitable for glasses wearers.
Due to the relatively small exit pupil of 3.1 millimeters, the binoculars are less suitable for use in twilight.
The Vogelbescherming Stern II 8x25 is a pair of binoculars suitable for birdwatchers and adventurous outdoor hikers. This compact pair of binoculars from Vogelbescherming weighs only 280 grams, making it easy to take with you anywhere. The Stern II 8x25 features an 8x magnification with a field of view of 105 meters. The image is bright and sharp thanks to the multiple coatings. The smooth focusing and rubber housing ensure comfortable handling. This is useful when heading out in the rain or visiting damp locations. The eyepieces can be rotated infinitely inwards and outwards, allowing you to adjust them to your preferences. This also makes the binoculars suitable for glasses wearers. The design is dust- and splash-proof with an IPX4 rating. This allows you to use the binoculars with peace of mind during a light rain shower.
Easy to take with you on walks. Not very bright, but clear images during the day.

Due to the compact size, this is an ideal viewer to take with you on the road. The magnification factor of 8x is more than sufficient for bird watching without the image becoming too restless due to shaking of the hands. Due to the porro lens system, this viewer also has a finer depth perception than my previous viewer: it feels more natural and less like looking at a photo. The quality of the option and robustness is not disappointing given the price. In general, the viewing feels sturdy, only the eyepiece distance setting feels a bit less sturdy.
