According to our contact grill expert
The grill registers the thickness of the meat and adjusts the preparation time accordingly.
With the 9 automatic programs, you can prepare poultry, red meat, and fish, among other things.
Thanks to the sensors, you know exactly when your meat is rare, medium, or well done.
This contact grill has a 44cm cooking surface, so it takes up a lot of space on your countertop.
The Tefal OptiGrill+ XL GC7228 automatically adjusts the temperature and preparation time to the thickness and number of ingredients thanks to the cooking sensor. You can also grill perfectly cooked pieces of meat. Thanks to the cooking indicator and audio signal, you'll know exactly when your meat is rare, medium, or well done. The grill also has 9 different cooking programs. With these, you can very easily prepare hamburgers, poultry, seafood, or red meat. In addition to the 9 programs, you can also select the temperature yourself with the 4 temperature settings. Thanks to the large grill surface, you can prepare dishes for 6 to 8 people at the same time. After use, you simply put the grill plates in the dishwasher.

With our Optigrill+ XL from Tefal I make delicious toasted sandwiches with Pineapple, Delicious Hamburgers, and the t-bone steak is cooked faster, what a great Tefal Optigrill + XL, this is 10x better than our old Tefal grill

Great app. We already had good experiences with the smaller ones. But with a family, this XL is a godsend. No butter needed for baking. Less spices and salt are needed because they are not lost in the butter as with normal baking. Taste of meat much better. The sound signal is also a godsend.
We gave the smaller version as a gift to our son who has started living independently. He's happy with it.
In short, Tefal has a very satisfied customer.
