According to our solid state drive (SSD) expert
With a total 1TB storage capacity, you can store 200,000 photos or 200 2-hour Full HD movies.
Thanks to the 2100MB/s read speed, you can shorten the loading time of games and other demanding applications.
The energy-efficient build of the SSD ensures that you can work for longer without your laptop getting warm.
This M.2 NVMe SSD has a 2280 size combined with an M key, which only fits if your device supports this size.
Note: This M.2 SSD has a PCI Express (NVMe) interface and only works if your system supports PCIe/NVMe. Check if this is the case in the manual of your laptop or motherboard.
With the Kingston NV1 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD 2TB, you get a fast internal SSD to store games and applications on. If your computer supports the 2280 size and an M key, this internal SSD provides a speed upgrade. Thanks to the PCIe interface, the Kingston NV1 is three times faster than the regular SATA SSD. It's even 30 times faster than the average hard drive. You'll notice that applications boot faster with a 2100MB/s read speed. You can store demanding games like PUBG on the internal SSD and you're in the lobby within 10 seconds. Your operating system also boots within a few seconds from the SSD. With a total storage of 2TB, you have enough space for 220 music albums or 200,000 photos. And this internal SSD from Kingston is energy-efficient, so your laptop gets less warm and your battery lasts longer.
In my opinion the best deal for a 2TB NVME drive at the moment. I use it to set up games, it all works well, loading times are very fast. By the way, don't forget that you have to format the drive before use! Benchmark: Read: 1078 MB/s Write: 1636 MB/s Mixed: 1148MB/s

Nice those recent gaming notebooks. Rarely more than 1TB of storage in M2 format and your 'old' 2TB or more SSDs won't fit in it. Games and 1TB storage is a bit of a struggle. There is really faster M2 storage for sale than this Kingston. Whether you really notice that will depend on your scenario. In my scenario, the Kingston is a no-brainer, as in a lot of storage for relatively little. Concerning the reliability, actually no idea, we will have to wait a year or two for that.
