According to our processor expert
The high turbo clock speed of 5.2GHz makes this processor suitable for gaming.
With 8 cores and 16 threads, you can perform multiple demanding tasks at the same time with demanding applications like Adobe Premiere Pro.
Thanks to the unlocked multiplier, you can overclock the turbo clock speed and make the processor even faster.
The built-in video chip is powerful enough for graphics editing and basic games, but you need a dedicated video card for high-end gaming with this processor.
The processor generates a relatively large amount of heat due to the high clock speed, so check out our bundles for a suitable processor cooler.
Note: the Intel Core i9 11900K has an Intel FCLGA 1200 socket. Check if your motherboard has the same socket, otherwise your processor won't work.
The Intel Core i9 11900K is an 11th generation Intel processor for graphic designers and hardcore gamers. Since the processor has 8 cores and 16 threads, you can perform multiple demanding tasks at the same time. For example, you can edit photos or videos with Adobe software and create 3D content. The 16MB cache memory keeps the RAM from being overloaded while you multitask. With the i9 11900K, you can reach a standard clock speed of 2.5GHz and a turbo clock speed of 5.2GHz. The processor automatically increases the speed to 5.2GHz for larger tasks that demand more processing power, such as gaming at high settings. The i9 11900K does this as long as the maximum temperature of 70°C hasn't been reached yet. Want to make the processor even faster? Thanks to the unlocked multiplier, you can easily overclock it for more processing power. Even without a dedicated video card in your computer, you can play basic games like Minecraft. That's because this i9 processor has an Intel UHD Graphics 750 video chip. The memory controller supports RAM with a speed up to 3200MHz.
Play ETS2 every day and it runs on 1 core so this was the best choice for my motherboard, Very satisfied
