According to our controller expert
Some games, like Mario Kart, require you to use a set of Joy-Cons for 2 players.
These Joy-Cons support every function for controlling the Nintendo Switch.
You can also connect the Joy-Cons to the Nintendo Switch Lite.
The Joy-cons are a bit smaller in size, so they're less suitable for larger hands.
With a Nintendo Switch Joy-con Set Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, you can complete your Nintendo Switch or play with 4 players on 1 Switch console. These Joy-Cons are designed in the style of Zelda: Skyward Sword, so you can play the game with matching Joy-Cons. In handheld mode, the set of controllers provides 1 player with control over the Switch. In addition, every Nintendo Switch Joy-con controller can be used separately as a controller. This comes in handy when you're using the Switch for a party, playing games like Mario Kart against a second person, or if you want to use an extra or spare set. That way, you can play on the Nintendo Switch with four players at the same time and there's no arguing over who's up next.
Nintendo can take a closer look at the quality of their joy-cons. Original joy-cons were worn out after 2.5 years of use.
