According to our USB hub expert
For a few accessories: this hub gives you 3 extra USB ports for a few accessories.
Easy to connect: you can use this hub right away with a device that has a USB-C port, without an extra adapter.
Transfer files quickly: you can transfer files from a memory card to your laptop via the memory card reader.
Limited number of USB ports: if you want to connect more than 3 USB accessories, choose a hub with at least 4 ports.
No wired internet: this hub doesn't have an Ethernet port for a stable wired internet connection.
As soon as I plugged in the hub, my Magic Mouse and keyboard stopped working, very slow and the connection kept dropping. Disconnect hub and everything works again. Read (too late) on Reddit that this is a known issue with these hubs. Unfortunately, because it fits very well with the Mac Mini in terms of design.

Product does not appear to work with the Mac Mini M2 (Pro) chip built-in. According to the Satechi website this should work, but unfortunately only the minijack port of this hub works. There is no firmware or driver available. No idea how to solve this.
