If you don't feel like being the hero for a while, you can turn to the various single player and multiplayer modes. Run to the finish line as fast as you can in a race against the clock, or take on a series of special challenges that involve keeping enemies off an elevator, for example.
Choose from 5 heroes
Choose from 5 heroes. Mario, Luigi, and Toad are all there, and Nabbit and Toadette also make an appearance. Nabbit takes no damage from enemies. That can come in very handy. And when Toadette uses a super crown, she turns into Peachette.

It's Luigi's time to shine! Looking for a more difficult challenge? Luigi's first starring role in a platform adventure, New Super Luigi U, also gets the deluxe treatment and is included for free.

In this adventure, Luigi is the star of the show. The levels are trickier and you only have 100 seconds on the clock, so you'll have to run like the wind to reach the flag in time.

Mario wouldn't be Mario without a load of power-ups to help you along the way. From items and suits that transform your heroes, to a whole slew of Yoshi's with unique abilities, Bowser's subjects won't know what hit them.
