These smoke detectors have a neat design and are compact. With the supplied self-adhesive magnetic strip, mounting on a ceiling is very easy. However, it is difficult to mount the smoke alarm neatly with screws, because the mounting plate is not parallel to the square test button. You must therefore carefully note how you screw on the mounting plate, to ensure that the test button is neatly oriented with respect to, for example, a wall.

In normal operation, the LED flashes briefly every 40 s to indicate that the detector is operating normally. This makes the detector less suitable for a bedroom, for example.

Battery lasts only 3 years. Product purchased in 2022, battery already empty
