Awesome starter pack with lots of options!

Installation much easier than expected!
The Hue app could be made something clearer

We bought the set with 5 colored lamps.

Yes, the set costs quite a lot of money, but its ease of use considerably exceeds other 'smart' lamps that we have (had) in the house and the click on click from sockets. The latter worked ok, but that's about it. As soon as LED lamps came into view, this caused problems (and yes also the LED version of Click on click off). The ease of controlling the lighting with both an app on your phone or tablet and the separate dimmer is great. No more stress that it doesn't work, half works or that the family doesn't understand. Both my wife and children can control the lighting with their own telephone in all desired colours, rhythms and just think of it.....

What is also very nice is that you can connect the lighting to Spotify, after which the colors change with the music you play.

We do not find the Philips Hue app very intuitive and we also had to find out what the makers meant with the operation. There are certainly still some steps that can be taken here. But all in all, we are very satisfied with the lamps, options and operation.
