I tested the rowenta rotary brush on my thick and wavy 2b hair. The brush is easy to use, although there is certainly a learning curve. After using it I found my hair soft. It did remain a bit fluffy, but this is also a characteristic of my hair. Personally I found it to be better on day 2, my hair looked good on day 2 and styled. I find that the brush does not add much in terms of shine, it does not make my hair much shinier. The brush didn't feel very hot so I think that's a plus. My hair dried fairly quickly while styling using this brush. I was able to grab quite a lot of hair each time I ran the brush through my hair. The time I was working was not too bad and was certainly shorter than if you, for example, go with a curling iron. I think the bristles of the brush look a bit fragile and I don't know how long that would last after 1 year of use, again due to my hair type, thick and a lot. I found the brush to feel a bit heavy, even if you compare it with similar products. Especially if you have a lot of hair, that can be a downside because you spend quite a while with the brush. You can use the brush if you have hair like me but I honestly think there are other more suitable products for my specific hair type.
