According to our smart light expert
You place this recessed spot light in the ceiling so that it becomes one with your interior.
You don't need a bridge, because the light uses Bluetooth.
You can set this light to 16 million colors and all shades of white light.
You can only control the light with your smartphone within a radius of 10m if you don't have a bridge.
You can control a maximum of 10 lights per house without a bridge, and up to 50 lights if you add a bridge.
The Philips Hue Centura Round White is a plastic recessed spot light with a beam angle of 45 degrees. This light can light up in 16 million colors and all shades of white. That way, you can choose the right atmosphere at home or at the office. Thanks to Bluetooth, you don't need a Hue Bridge, but you control the lights directly using your phone. You set the colors and dim the light via the Hue app. Also want to turn the light on and off when you're not at home or set timers? You can add a Hue Bridge later. The light is also suitable as an expansion for an existing set of Hue lights with Bridge.
Note: this recessed spot light is deeper than a regular recessed spot light. Make sure that this one fits.

All the pluses are about the lamp itself, but the main minus is for the fixture. The plastic is too soft compared to the spring and therefore breaks easily (happened twice). So once it's in, don't take it out. In short, price/quality ratio is far apart here.
