According to our mobile phone expert
This small iPhone fits into your pocket entirely and you can operate it with one hand just like the iPhone 7 / 8 / SE 2 / 12 Mini, the iPhone Xr / 11 are larger.
The large battery lasts a whole day with average use.
You can take razor-sharp photos with the different cameras on this device.
A charger and earbuds aren't included by default, so you have to purchase them separately.
The phone doesn't have a telephoto lens to zoom in without quality loss, which the iPhone 13 Pro (Max) does have.
Note: Apple doesn't include a charger and earbuds. Use your current accessories or buy them separately.

I've had an iPhone 12 and 12 pro. But found them too big and heavy (especially the pro). The iPhone 12 mini also turned out not to be an option, because the battery life was not good. That's why we waited for the iPhone 13 mini. And I have to say, it is immediately my most favorite device ever. Small size, with very few compromises. I also like that the device is a perfect fit for a more minimalist lifestyle. It feels liberating to make my phone a little less big and important.
I prefer to operate my phones with one hand. That goes perfectly with the 13 mini. Moreover, you do not even notice that you have it in your pocket. Every now and then I have to seriously feel if I have it with me. The battery life is also fine. I also have an iPhone SE 2016 and 2020 and the battery life is really not pleasant, but the iPhone 13 mini is fine.
The iPhone 13 mini is rumored to be the last mini Apple will release. I hope it isn't, but for now I'm stuck with this blissful little and powerful phone.

After the 11 pro now switch to the 13 mini. I thought the 11 pro was just a bit too big. This is another nice "little one", somewhat reminiscent of the 4s/5s in size. The quality of the camera is already 10x better than the 11 pro, while I already thought it was beautiful at the time, very clear and sharp image. The battery seems to run out a bit faster than the 11 pro, but it can easily last a day with intensive use.

Switched from iPhone 8 to iPhone 13 mini. The device itself is slightly smaller, but the screen is larger.
