According to our dehumidifier expert
With the app, you can also control the humidifier remotely when you're not at home.
With a 6L capacity, you don't have to empty the water tank as often as that of other dehumidifiers.
You know exactly when you have to empty the water tank, thanks to the signal of the dehumidifier.
This dehumidifier doesn't perform as well at low temperatures, so it's less suitable for basements and caravans.
Performances
Reliability
It must be said, the Qlima D630P does what it was designed for: dehumidifying the living space. Provided that it is set up correctly in the middle of the room and making use of the excess capacity of the device in relation to the total volume of the same room. Note that the higher the temperature and the more humid the room, the more water vapor is quickly extracted from the air. Otherwise, the process will be a bit slower. Those are the logical laws of physics, confirmed by practice.
It is also good to realize that the criterion “Relative Humidity” (Rh) in itself says little. After all, the measured Rh value is only “relative”: because it depends on the temperature of the air mass. It is therefore better to think and measure in terms of “absolute humidity” (dew point Td, mixing ratio grams H2O/m3, Theta-W, …) because this allows to determine the actual amounts of evaporated water in the indoor or outdoor atmosphere. Here are excellent and affordable sensors (plus main stations for data storage and measurement graphs) on the market, such as the KLIMA LOG-pro from TFA. Very handy to be able to decide on the basis of the measured dew point (in living room, bedroom, backyard, e.g.) to first open windows and doors to drain excess living moisture before switching on the device. This saves many liters of atmospheric moisture to be removed and - more importantly - energy costs. This certainly helps in the winter half of the year, because the absolute humidity of the air outdoors is usually (considerably) lower than that in the living room. EVEN in fog situations!!
NOTE: Absolute humidity (dew point) primarily determines the "sensation" of warmth, chill and tightness experienced by human skin. And therefore NOT the relative humidity; this is only a derived quantity which can be made visible with a good hygrometer.
All in all, after a while of testing, the D630P clearly has valuable advantages. And the device turns out to be an excellent addition to any early-morning ventilation action of the house: open windows and doors for 10-15 minutes, then switch on the heating (and possibly the D630P a little later). After all, dry air feels much more comfortable and it also saves many m3 of gas on an annual basis. Heating water (vapour) costs quite a bit of energy. In practice, you can easily set the thermostat 1 to 1.5 degrees lower, provided that a well-calibrated living room hygrometer indicates 35 to a maximum of 55% at that time.

I bought this because I had window condensation in the morning because of cold nights for this it works fine at my home, minus point I think it makes noise 45 decibels in the lowest position I measured with my smartphone 1 meter away in the living room I think the biggest downside is that the fan continues to run, you have also achieved the desired moisture percentage, I would have preferred that this device went into standby at a desired percentage to save energy. you can use the timer for this, which you can set up to 24 hours to save energy. plus point I find that my laundry was dry in 3 hours in the wash / dry program disadvantage is that the fan continuously blows at the highest position 51 decibels and you can not change to the lowest position. because this device soon weighs 18 kilos (without a full container), you'll be happy with the wheels. On the front large white numbers that show the current moisture percentage. the app is useful here lacks there is no remote. I am satisfied because I am rid of my moisture problem, although I miss the fully automatic operation (on/off switch). so here's my experience of the Qlima D630P Smart.

Does the job well, but makes too much noise for me. Leveling doesn't help. Something seems to rattle. The reason for me to return it.
