Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our earbuds expert
With the included MagSafe wireless charger, you can charge the charging case.
Thanks to the H1 chip, you can connect the earbuds to your Apple devices automatically, and activate Siri with your voice.
With Spatial Audio, you can enjoy spatial audio with movies, series, and TV.
The earbuds are water-resistant and not waterproof, so you can't clean them with water after your workout.
With the Apple AirPods 3 with MagSafe Wireless Charging Case, you can charge your AirPods 3 with a MagSafe wireless charger. You can charge your earbuds both wired and wirelessly with the MagSafe charger. Thanks to the H1 chip, you can listen to your favorite music within seconds. Hold the earbuds a few centimeters away from your iPhone, MacBook, or other iCloud device and they'll connect right away. When you're watching a movie, series, or program on your iPhone, you can turn on Spatial Audio. This technology provides spatial audio that makes the sound three-dimensional. The earbuds last 6 hours on a full charge. The charging case has a 24-hour battery life.
Sound according to expertBecause the Apple AirPods 3 are earbuds, they don't fully seal your ears. This means that the bass sounds don't come through as well and are less prominently present. The mid-range isn't boosted, so the instruments and vocals sound exactly like the artist intended. You can't adjust the sound via an equalizer, so you'll have to make do with the factory settings.
Note: Apple does include a charging cable, but no charger. Use your current accessories, or purchase them separately.

Design
After Apple AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro, Apple is expanding its offering in the landscape of fully wireless earbuds with AirPods 3. These new earbuds have a small charging case and sit firmly in my ears, but I don't think the bass is powerful enough.
design When unpacking the earbuds, the charging case immediately catches my eye. This one is a lot smaller than the one on my AirPods Pro, which makes it even easier to take it with me. The design of the earbuds themselves does resemble that of AirPods Pro, which I like. This design is a lot smaller and more compact than that of AirPods 2, which ensures a firmer wearing comfort.
Connected automatically When I put the earbuds in my ears, they connect to my iPhone almost instantly. This way I can listen to my favorite music within seconds. There is a pressure-sensitive button on both earbuds, which I use to control the music. I find this to work much nicer than touch control, because it is less prone to errors.
Reasonable bass I think the biggest downside to earbuds is the bass response. Because this type of earplugs do not go directly into your ear canal, the reproduction of the low tones is not ideal. Despite this, AirPods 3 deliver a fairly powerful sound, especially at medium volume. When I turn up the volume a little, the bass sounds shrill.

earphones themselves are great! unfortunately they are way too big for me and fall out of my ears easily. I also have smaller ears than the average. If these were smaller, I would certainly have used them a lot

Although the sound is of good quality, the earphones fall quickly. Only if you don't move (listen to music behind your laptop) is it no problem, but from the moment your face moves (smile, talk...) they don't stay well and may fall. With the earlier Airpods version, it was only a matter of tapping the sensor to stop the sound or to go to the next song; now you have to find that sensor and press it .... with earrings there is a drama.
