According to our console expert
The Nintendo Switch Lite Diamond & Pearl Edition is for the real Pokémon fans with the drawings on the back.
The new Nintendo Switch Lite is lighter and more compact than the original Switch, which makes it easier to take it with you when traveling.
The battery of the Switch Lite lasts about an hour longer compared to the 'normal' Nintendo Switch.
Unlike its predecessor, you can't connect the Nintendo Switch Lite to the television.
The Switch Lite has fixed buttons, because of the lack of Joy-Cons with rumble and motion detection you need an extra wireless controller for a small number of games.
Play your favorite Nintendo Switch games handheld with the Nintendo Switch Lite Gray Dialga & Palkia Edition. Thanks to the metal gray back with golden and silver drawings, this console has a unique Pokemon style.
Play handheld with the Nintendo Switch Lite. The game system you no longer connect to the TV. It's a compact lightweight system with built-in controls. You can play all Nintendo Switch games which support the handheld style on the Nintendo Switch Lite. This means you can play almost all Nintendo Switch games. The system is ideal for those who like to play in the house anywhere or for those who want to play online or locally with friends or family.
Note: contrary to the 'regular' Switch, you can't connect the Nintendo Switch Lite to a TV. You can no longer detach the controllers either, which means games like 1-2-Switch will require an extra set of wireless Joy-Cons.
A nice device to have.
