According to our doorbell expert
The doorbell has an SD card slot to store image, so you don't need a cloud subscription.
You can connect the doorbell to the existing wiring of your doorbell.
The camera infrared lighting to see in the dark.
You need a strong WiFi signal at your front door to use this doorbell.
Product caught my eye because no cloud subscription is required, the price is good. The picture is clear, sound is slightly less. The cloudedge app is definitely ok and works well on the smartphone.
However, through the OnVif settings, I noticed that there is an administrator account in the device, Weeye, which is not mentioned anywhere in the manual, where the settings are used to presumably work via the app. So I have my doubts about privacy/EU rules. This can certainly be done better and clearer. It is a Chinese import device, sold through a Dutch distributor.

Great picture/sound for this price. I solved the gong problem with an angled USB plug adapter so that everything does not protrude too much from the wall and is less vulnerable.

See above. Initially, the doorbell seemed to function properly, but after a few months, problems started to arise. Importer would arrange a software reset via the Chinese producer, would have been done but gave no improvement. NB: WiFi signal on site shows stable > 250Mbps, so this is not the cause. Disappointing product unfortunately. I want to return the doorbell under warranty. Unfortunately, Coolblue only appears to have a repair option. Process would take 3-4 weeks according to customer service. A replacement doorbell for that period is not available. I also find this disappointing.
